I can't agree more. It's utterly tragic and depressingly frustrating to see the entire scope of genderqueer politics being downplayed and battered around for humor by ignorant douchebags. This comic is a perfect example of said battering.

"It" and "the thing" hahaha cause it's not a "she" or "he" and "they" isn't as funny. They are 'the unknown.' 'You can't defeat what you don't understand.' Hah. Hah. Oh, my sides.

I mean this is an interesting idea as far as a Scott Pilgrim fan-concept goes. But the baseless and immature way the creator just makes being androgynous their entire character is both offensive and stupid.

To put it into context, if I were to make a girl character that Ramona dated, if I made her a short-haired unshaved DiFranko-loving bra-burning no-makeup man-hating lesbian I can guess that people might get a little offended by a portrayal of lesbianism. 

Also in before "But haha it's just a joke!" or "But everything should be made fun of!" or other such non-arguments that don't really refute the point as much as let you jerk off to your own opinion.

I will never get over how Goddamn silly it looks to have a big, scarred, rugged barbarian warrior clad in full leather swinging a greatsword bigger than he is, and right next to him is a wispy lingerie model wearing a leather bellyshirt with deep cleavage. 

I mean I get that Hunted: The Demon Forge is going for the Boris Vallejo look run through a grainy gritty filter and everything but good lord. Every time you put a female into a skimpy top in a place where it's painfully obvious that it does nothing except paint a big target right where your heart/guts are, I groan and facepalm.

So, let me get this straight. 

The Green Lantern Corps is created by Ganthet and the Guardians who deprive themselves from emotion because it's dangerous, IE fear. However, a rebel group of alien women who don't wish to separate themselves from emotions form a dangerous splinter faction that lets a love-fueled gem zip from planet to planet, making hostile takeovers of whatever female body it wishes with no concern for human life. Its grand plan is to encase everything in crystal to keep it in suspended animation for all time.

So yes, the right and proper men The Guardians cleanse emotion from their lives, while the hot tempered women Zamarons run off and do senseless and dangerous things that turn them into terrorists.

The men are smart, logical, and good while the women are dumb, emotional, and villainous.

"Pro-life feminists" are full of shit

There's apparently a group of people who consider themselves "Pro-life feminists." Now, you might be thinking, "WTF?!" because obviously pro-life is the ridiculous arbitrary demand for women to carry their children because We Say So whereas feminism is all about women's rights. 

I mean if you asked me, pro-life feminism is "I'm all about women's rights, except abortion because it's your fault you got pregnant you dumb whore. Nope, don't care if you were raped or if birth control failed, your fault."

WELL WTF NO MORE!

It's like reading Stephanie Meyers' feminist-rebuttal all over again.

Once again more of that fucking stupid 'abortion is killing' backhanded bullshit, stated as though everyone - including the reader - is already accepting that yes, abortion is killing. Even though you'd be just as likely to step on a tapeworm and consider it 'killing' since any doctor-approved abortion has to be done early.

I like how they say "no one choses to be raped" and instantly lampshade that their entire agenda is to, in the instance that it results in a pregnancy, say it's your fault for not using birth control. Getting pregnant is your choice, even if it involved rape.

Wow, that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Wait, no...

It's the kind of ack-basswards horseshit that becomes the radicalist feminists - the kind of women who are convinced that sex is something done by men and to women. 

Women having abortions frees them from the responsibility of taking on a child if they cannot or do not wish to. Insisting that the act does nothing other than free men from responsibility, ignoring the entire physical, emotional, and financial repercussions from a woman carrying, birthing, and raising a child, is all kinds of fucking idiotic I can't even believe.

And this is the cherry on top. They consider themselves feminists, hammer on how important women's rights are, yet they spend an entire page telling you how much women's rights don't matter. It's the fetus - always the fetus. The baby is the more important part. A life that is barely the size and intelligence of a mosquitofish is more important than a woman's life. 

So, here you go. Pro-life feminists? Yeah, when I said -
